Are you experiencing domestic abuse at home? Our Survivor Guide, Tanya Joy, helps educate and connect the dots for abuse victims and survivors who woud like to (1) see the danger of the abuse they are experiencing by learning about forms of abuse, (2) begin supporting themselves in their domestic abuse situation and connecting to resources available to them in their community, and (3) find their joy by prioritizing themselves and thinking through plans on how they could make things safer and more joyful for themselves and their family.
It can be difficult as an abuse victim to identify what you are going through is adult domestic relationship abuse, when you aren’t clear on what all of the types of abuse are. You may feel like you just want to check with someone about what you are going through, like “okay, am I just off? Or, is this bad?”, to get a second opinion.
Programs for Abuse Victims is a 1-on-1 Joyful Journey, meant to connect you to seeing the danger in your situation, supporting you with resources, and supporting you with planning and consulting around paths forward you can take to increase the safety and joy in your life. Together we can talk about how you can protect yourself, and leave or address your abusive relationship in safer ways.

You’ll Have Private 1-on-1 Calls With Lead Survivor Guide Tanya Joy
Lead Survivor Guide Tanya Joy will provide private, judgement-free conversations for you and will take care to ensure you feel respected, heard, and welcomed. You will learn in your first session exactly what parameters exist around the confidentiality of your conversation, so that you can feel comfortable sharing what you want to about your situation, and get answers to the questions you have.
You’ll Be Respected To Make Your Own Choices
Whether you choose to stay or leave your domestic adult relationship is up to you. You won’t be told what to do or pressured into making a decision you are not ready for or comfortable with. Each week’s programs will be with Lead Survivor Guide Tanya Joy, who has already survived a domestic abuse relationship and has experience relating with, supporting, and resourcing other abuse victims in domestic adult relationships.
Planning Compassionately: For Your Safety and Joy
Each week’s program will be customized to your situation and the resources and guidance that you receive will be catered to your unique situation. Together in 1-on-1 sessions, you can plan with Lead Survivor Guide Tanya Joy around actions you would like to take, explore where you are at in your journey, and recieve guidance around what you may be experiencing. Importantly, you will learn about the abuse forms that you are being exposed to, so that you can gain more clarity around the dangers that may be present in your domestic adult relationship for yourself and your family. Our goal is to help you gain clarity on what kinds of things could occur if you decide to stay or leave your abusive relationship, and encourage you to start feeling more comfortable standing behind your own decisions.

Each program in Programs for Abuse Victims will connect you to Lead Survivor Guide Tanya Joy who navigated through her own indecision herself, and now helps abuse victims to gain confidence in their own decision making skills. A stand out feature of Programs for Abuse Victims is that you will be encouraged to take what you have learned and integrate your understanding through guided exercises that you can do in-between each weekly 1-on-1 session.
